Afsheen Ommar, BDS, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Afsheen Ommar has been practicing general dentistry since 2002. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with Honors. Dr. Ommar has a vast range of clinical experience; she worked as the Dental Director at NorthShore Northwest Community Healthcare where she conducted the program with leadership and excellence in clinical care. She is also an Associate Professor (adjunct) at the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Dentistry. She’s proud to provide dental care for active service members through her work with the U.S. military. She is a certified member of Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is committed to advanced continuing education and staying at the forefront of dental technology. Her passion for dentistry allows her to provide compassionate care to her patients from all age groups and she looks forward to continuing the same devotion for you and your family!
In her free time, Dr. Ommar enjoys traveling with her family, which includes her husband and two kids. As a McHenry county resident for the past 8 years, she recognizes her communities’ needs and hopes to foster further relationships. Her friendly bedside manner and sincere treatment advice is sure to make you feel well-cared for and welcomed to our dental family!.
Aileen Petty
Hygienist
Aileen has been a registered dental hygienist since 2006. She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University, where she won the Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence. Aileen enjoys working with her team to help her patients achieve total wellness through their preventive care visits. Her favorite part of her job is being able to watch her patients and their families grow throughout the years. She is from Columbus, OH and resides in Algonquin, IL with her two children, and cat. Aileen enjoys running, going to country concerts, karaoke, watching Buckeye football and spending time with her friends and family.
